BRIGHTON 2009! You may have heard the relocation rumours………. Well, now it’s official. White Air is on the move. After 12 fantastic years on the Isle of Wight, next year will see an even bigger and better White Air on the mainland in Brighton.
September18-20 are our dates for 2009. Brighton Beach is the place.
If you think you know White Air, think again because we plan to give you even more pumping adrenaline rushes, even more great extreme sports, more competitions, more displays, more music and, in Brighton, all of it will be a whole lot more accessible.
A short walk east along the seafront from the famous pier will take you to our new home on the beach at Brighton. The White Air crew will be there in force, doing their stuff to ensure that White Air Brighton is Europe’s Premier Extreme Sports Festival with an amazing live stage and fringe music scenes to entertain.
Next year’s festival will have something for everyone. The ultimate extreme sports village will have the biggest ever Free Sports Ramps, for Skaters, Boarders and Bikers and all the urban sports. We are planning Europes top Skate Vert comp, and we already have the Red Arrows and Falcons Parachute display teams booked. There’ll be more than 20 “Have a Go” sports for everyone to try and World, European and British competitions on the water, on land and in the air. We also hope to include new sports to White Air such as Triathlon, Beach Volleyball and World High Diving. Anyone for a Bungee Jump on the beach?
If you’re looking for excitement, adventure, entertainment, challenge and fun, from Sept 18-20 next year the place to be is the south coast. On water or land, there’ll be something at White Air 2009 for everyone. Watch some of the world’s best extreme athletes or test your skills and try a new sport.
Start planning your visit to Brighton now. We are!

..and this is all because of the older generation (the minority) who didn't like the noise!! Very disappointed. What are we going to lose next??? Cowes week??? I say we get White air back...its ours - not Brightons! Becky.

It's been too long waiting for this! This event should have been in Brighton years ago! So happy that the organisers decided to use a town that's so full of extreme sports fans and so much easier to access for the rest of the country! I'll be going that's for sure! Many thanks...
