Vert Ramp at White Air 2009
King Ramps will be bringing their mammoth Vert ramp to White Air 2009, which will entertain the top professionals from around the World. The Vert is currently considered to be the best portable vert ramp in Europe and has been requested by the most premium skateboarding events, including The World Cup in Berlin The Vert is the largest portable ramp in Europe, designed according to international hero Tony Hawks own personal ramp.
It is 13.5ft tall, 40ft wide and constructed to a level of quality not reached before. The structure is made from high grade plywood and every section has been cut and shaped with computerised precision using CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) technology. Surfaced with Skatelite (a composite material that is smooth, fast and durable) it is a dream for professionals to ride.
Action on the vert ramp at White Air will consist of demonstrations and a competition. In the comp riders will compete in a jam format in groups of 4, which is very entertaining to watch as there is a constant flow of skateboarding and the riders push each other to new levels. With the UK currently home to the worlds best upcoming talents, and the attendance of some of the top international riders, the standard will be incredible.
After a successful first year being involved with White Air in 2008, King Ramps are looking forward to taking it up a gear in 2009 and showing off the ramp and the UK’s amazing youth talent!

Dates :Public open park Building on the success of last year we are once again extending the Skate midi ramp, street course, BMX, Inline and Mtboard park on the beach! So bring your gear for the Open Skate/BMX midi ramp and street course that's there for everyone to use or try your hand on the freestyle jump! A jam session that lasts all weekend. If you fancy a go then come along and jam with some of the very best in the sport!

Trevor Johnson – Owns a bigger bag of mini ramp tricks than anyone. Many that nobody else can do. We present… All Terrain Trev.
Dan McDermott – Young gun from Exeter that’s been making an impact on the British skate scene this summer. Big airs, nice steez.
Dave Chesson – Seasoned pro that has some special moves under his belt.
