Q: Will I be able to get cash out on the festival site? A: No, but there will be several ATM machines throughout the city, but we do advise that you come prepared. Although every effort is made to keep the cash points stocked the sheer volume of people using them can sometimes prohibit this.
Q: Is there any disabled access? A: Much of the White Air site is accessible for disabled people. However, Brighton’s shingle beach is difficult terrain for wheelchair users. We have a disabled viewing platform available, with a good view of the main stage. If you are registered as being disabled, your carer can attend the event for free to assist you on the day - providing you both bring relevant identification and documentation. If you are not registered as being disabled, but are in some way physically incapacitated on the day - for example, on crutches - you will be able to utilise our disabled facilities. Disabled tickets need to be applied for in advance not on the day
Q: What happens if I have problems with security at White Air? A: We employ lots of security throughout the festival site. Those in key positions and undertaking certain functions are required to be licensed. Most have training of some kind and all licensed staff has a badge number, which must be displayed. While we can't guarantee the experience or user-friendliness of every guard, our event security comes from very experienced suppliers. Should you have a problem with any specific security guard then please report their number to event staff.
Travel FAQ's:
Q: I want to travel by rail to the festival, what is the nearest Station? A: Brighton is the nearest station. We strongly advise all visitors to travel to White Air by public transport. White Air is a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Brighton Railway Station. Leaving the station walk straight down Queens Rd towards the seafront, turn left towards Brighton Pier and White Air/Madeira Drive is directly ahead.
Please be aware that the last train from Brighton to London Victoria leaves at 23.37PM on Friday and Saturday. Whichever part of the world you are coming from the train is the quickest and easiest route to this part of the south coast.
Q: Is car parking available on the site? A: There is no general parking anywhere in the vicinity of White Air so please come by public transport. There is very limited pay and display, car parks and metered parking within the city centre and any car illegally parked will be towed. So we advise you to leave the car at home.
